Join THE annual WOOD HAUL
Mark your calendars! This volunteer event is focused on getting the cabins ready for the winter season. Together, we will move 8-10 cords of wood to restock the Guard Station and A-Frame. Small teams will also help clear debris, clean the cabins, and make minor repairs as needed. No experience is needed, however, please dress for the work at hand.

Come for the day or stay and camp overnight. Both cabins will be open to volunteers to stay in or camp nearby on Friday and Saturday. Parking at the Tilly Jane Campground area is limited, so please carpool or hike if you can.

how to prepare
We will have work gloves available to use from our friends at Kinco. Volunteers are required to wear sturdy boots and long pants. Please dress in layers as fall temperatures can vary (check the forecast before you head up). We recommend bringing a dust mask or bandana, a hat, and eye protection as our supplies are limited.
To participate:
You must wear sturdy boots, work gloves, eye protection, and long pants
IF operating saws must also wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including eye protection, hearing protection, gloves, leg protection (chaps), sturdy cut-proof boots, and gloves
We recommend bringing your own lunch, snacks, refillable water bottle, and clothing for ALL KINDS OF WEATHER
IF you’re spending the night recommend packing camping equipment, extra food, and additional water
Please bring a refillable water bottle, a lunch, and additional meals if you are staying the night. We will have drinking water and other FREE beverages available for all volunteers during the event.
